Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays are fast, highly detailed, and safe. The extremely sensitive sensors offer the advantage of reduced exposure to our patients. All our x-ray machines offer top of the line digital technology.
Panoramic and Cephalometric X-Rays
A panoramic x-ray is an image of the upper and lower jaws. It shows a two-dimensional overview of all the teeth and jaws. It is helpful in identifying crowding, impacted teeth, missing or extra teeth and pathology. The cephalometric x-ray is used to review the bones of the face, jaw proportions, jaw growth, and skeletal balance of the face. Not all dental offices have the special equipment to take these types of radiographs. Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons routinely request these for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Traditional View Digital Dental X-Rays
Routine two dimensional dental radiographs are smaller in size and are close-up images of individual teeth. They are taken to identify cavities and assess overall dental and bone health.
3D Imaging
Our state-of-the-art 3D Cone Beam (CBCT) technology provides highly accurate 3D radiographic images for the diagnosis, planning and treatment. This type of imaging is essential for treatment of orthodontics, implantology, TMJ analysis, oral and orthognathic surgery. Undistorted, anatomically correct views of the jaws, teeth and face are generated. Three-dimensional images enable a level of anatomical accuracy and patient care not possible with 2-D technologies.
